Current Role

I currently work as a Faculty Supervisor in the School of Technology (WST) at Western Governors University (WGU).


This role entails the following responsibilities:

- Supervise the IT Capstones team, which consists of 17 Evaluators, Senior Evaluators, and Lead Evaluators.

- Monitor team KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and job queue. Develop action plans to address KPI issues.

- Act as a point-of-contact for other teams within WGU, including Instruction and Program Development.

- Perform quality checks of evaluations for each team member.

- Review resumes, interview job applicants, and participate in hiring/promotion decisions. Complete recommendation forms for in-line promotions.

- Host welcome meetings with new team members.

- Train team members on how to evaluate new assessments and create training videos.

- Update Course Resource Documents (CRDs).

- Provide specific, helpful, and timely feedback on students' Capstone performance assessments, which include project proposals, reports, documentation, test plans, videos, applications, data products, repositories, and websites.

- Contribute to workshops/projects for course and assessment development/redevelopment.

- Participate in team meetings and assist manager with creating meeting agenda.

- Evaluate assessments for the following undergraduate and graduate Capstone courses:
